Generic stock single vision lenses, mounted in full-rim frames, are pretty fast. We can make new lenses in as fast as 10 minutes. Rimless and half-rim frames can be done in as fast as 60 minutes.

If you prefer premium single vision lenses, they can usually be done within 1-2 days.

Progressive or multifocal lenses are custom made. The normal process would take about 7-10 working days.

If you are in a hurry, we can get it done for you in 1 working day! Your order will be expedited and processed through our local lens finishing lab.

We strive to provide our spectacles repair service in a timely fashion. Most repairs are done within 4 or 5 days.

However, if you need to have your broken spectacles to be fixed in a hurry, we might be able to do it in as fast as 60 minutes!

How long does it take to make a pair of glasses?

Most of the wait is in the lenses rather than the frame. A stock single vision lens already exists in finished form and only has to be edged to the shape of the frame, which is why a full-rim job can be ready in as fast as 10 minutes. A rimless or half-rim mount takes longer — the lens has to be drilled or grooved and then tensioned into the mount — so allow about 60 minutes.

Lenses made to order are a different job. Progressive and multifocal lenses are surfaced individually, which normally takes about 7-10 working days; expedited through a local lens finishing lab, a progressive can be done in 1 working day. Premium single vision lenses usually take 1-2 days.

Repairs run on their own clock. Most are done within 4 or 5 days, and an urgent repair can sometimes be finished in as fast as 60 minutes when a technician is on duty — worth a call before making the trip.
