Visio Optical is an independent, fitting-led boutique optician in Holland Village, and has been for nearly twenty years. Much of the work here happens after a frame is chosen: bespoke handmade spectacles made in-house, express lens replacement, customised lens shapes, repaint of tarnished frames, adjustments and modification for a higher bridge profile. Broken frames have a page of their own. The eyecare trade in Singapore uses these services too, and customers come to us from overseas.

Over the years, we have repaired thousands of frames. Ask for a quotation at Visio Optical, before throwing away your beloved (and expensive) broken spectacles.
Whether your lenses are damaged, or your prescription has changed, we can replace the lenses of your spectacles. We can also replace sunglass lenses, with or without prescription.
At Visio Optical, single vision lenses for full frames can be ready in 15 minutes. Progressive lenses can be done in 1 day!

The frame slides down your face too much? Does it hurt your ears? One lens is higher than the other? We can fix it.
We can modify spectacles and sunglasses that are based on European and American design, to fit the lower nose bridge that is common among Asians.
When you wear your sunglasses, make sure that your vision still remains perfect: add prescription lenses to your sunglasses.
Spectacle lenses and custom lens work
A frame you already like does not need replacing when the lenses do. Lenses can be remade for spectacles and for sunglasses, with or without prescription, and the frame is re-fitted afterwards so it sits as it did before. For lenses, Visio Optical recommends Zeiss and Hoya.
- Lens replacement in your own frame, including sunglass lenses.
- Custom lens shapes — a lens cut to a shape you have drawn or chosen, rather than the shape the frame arrived with.
- Adjustments and fitting — comfort, balance, eye position and how the frame sits across the bridge and temples.
Bespoke handmade spectacles are made in-house: the acetate is cut here, in our own colour range, and every frame is made by hand. It is the only optical boutique in Singapore doing this.
