The benefits
Alcon is known for producing contact lenses that serve the full life cycle of eye care needs. Today, Alcon is dominating the market with some of their innovative contact lenses. The list above is the working span of the range: daily and reusable, clear and coloured, spherical, toric and multifocal.
Dailies AquaComfort Plus is a daily disposable: a fresh sealed lens each morning, with nothing to clean or store overnight.
Alcon is a popular brand to consider when you are looking for a contact lens.
Freshlook COLORBLENDS are monthly contact lenses available in a whopping 12 colors.
Air Optix, Dailies and FreshLook: what separates the ranges
Alcon’s lenses divide fairly neatly by how often a lens is replaced and what design it is made in.
- Dailies — daily disposables, opened fresh each morning and discarded at night, with multifocal and toric versions following the same pattern.
- Air Optix — the reusable family, including Air Optix for astigmatism, Air Optix Multifocal and Air Optix Colors.
- FreshLook — the colour range, from ONE-DAY to the monthly COLORBLENDS listed above in twelve colours.
Replacement schedule and colour are matters of preference. The rest of the specification is not: base curve, diameter and power belong to the wearer, and a box ordered without them is guesswork. Visio Optical is an independent, fitting-led optician in Holland Village, Singapore, and those details are worth confirming in person rather than assuming they carry across from an old box.
